swarovski

Originally a reference to jewelry made by Daniel Swarovski. Eventually became a term used to describe most Austrian crystal jewelry. An Austrian crystal is the same as a rhinestone, only without a mirrored back. These are high quality synthetic stones made from glass.

"Swarovski" jewels are becoming popular in hair jewelry this year.

swarovski

A term used to describe the drug "Crystal Meth/Methamphetamine". Sometimes used by drug addicts and drug dealers as Slang, Nickname or Code name to hide it's true identity from law enforcement or other parties. Usually used over the phone.

Do you sometimes crave Swarovski?

Swarovski Radius

The distance at which a young science major can no longer resist the bling worn by a member of their preferred sex. A play on the market price of Swarovski, which is effectively $350 glass (and the only thing university students can afford), and the Swartzchild Radius (which is the radius of a black hole, from which there is no escape).

"Oooh look at Mitsie, she has no understanding of physics, but that's a damned low cut top and nice bling."
"Yeah, look at Professor Higgs... he's mesmerised... and totally caught in her Swarovski Radius. She'll pass anyway!"
