Teacher Syndrome

A syndrome educators experience in which they spend so much time in their specific field that they become fixated on it and discount other schools of thought. In extreme cases to the point of ignorantly insisting all other subjects should default to theirs.

Mr. Russel is suffering from teacher syndrome, he is habitually reminding everyone in his chemistry class that everything is chemistry, books are chemistry, math is chemistry, and PE is chemistry.

Female Teacher Syndrome

When you think your female teacher is absolutely smoking hot but in reality it's because she is the only (or least unattractive) female teacher.

Jim: "Mate, how fit is Miss Lee?!"

Gym teachers syndrome

1 A condition, commonly found in gym teachers but also in teachers of other pointless classes, where the patient tries to compensate for the pointlessness of their job with odd and unnecessary busy work.

"My gym teacher gave me a written test today. Why would he do that?" "he has gym teachers syndrome."

Enlightened English Teacher Syndrome

The more an english teacher preaches living life and talks about it, the more work s/he seems to give and the less s/he seems to have lived life.

English Teacher: Class, go home this weekend and write a ten page report about carpe diem.
