Hawkeye is one of the most badass Avengers, portrayed by Jeremy Renner, also known as Clint Barton. Some nicknames given to Hawkeye are Legolas, Ronin, The Golden Archer, and Goliath. Hawkeye is probably one of the best archers there is because he never misses a shot.
Clint is commonly shipped with Natasha Romanoff in a ship called Clintasha.

The term 'Hawkeyes' is a general term refering to a large group. For the term to be relevant, every individual on the football team associated with this group, generally a college, must be a badass. The association of this word with a high school actually has no relevance whatever.
People who go to the University of Iowa are Hawkeyes.
