Great Leap Forward

Something Mao Zedong tried to do but failed horribly, so now no Chinese person wants to talk about it because it ruins their background (or maybe it's just cause Chinese people don't know what you mean)

American Citizen: Hey, remember when Mao Zedong tried to do the "Great Leap Forward" but failed horribly?

Chinese Guy: 我不知道您再说什么 (Translation: I don't know what you're talking about)

The Great Leap Forward

The above title is one of the Mao Zedong's chronic brain farts.
No government has killed more people through incompetence and stupitidy than the People's Republic of China, chink commies are in a class of their own. This utopian leap took place from 1958 to 1962 where the intension was rapidly industrialize the country by producing steel with primitive backyard furnaces caused one of the largest famine in human history – no one knows the exact death toll but estimates range from 15 to 55 million who starved to death during its worst years 59 - 61. And of course, according to the official truth the scapegoats were like always "hostile western forces."

Deng Xiaoping combined Mao's ruthlessness without his incompetence, Xi Jinping, a.k.a. Winnie the Pooh kills too, he has focused on the Uyghur minority and of course other regular stuff like the genocide in Tibet.

The great leap forward is not a long jump term.
