Through Thick And Thin

1) this phrase has its origins in early in English Literature. It signifies the arduous journey through the thickest in forests.

2)In modern day, this phrase is used to denote the hardships and good times faced in life. When you say to someone through thick and thin, it means you will be there with them throughout everything.

1) goodness, the woods are filled with thick and thin vines... i almost can't see the path a head but thank God we aren't alone.

2) through the good times, through the not so good times, through the happy times, through the not so happy times, through the fantastic times, through the not so fantastic times.... TTAT
