Ugly Mirror

A mirror, usually set in a bathroom, that makes you look worse than you actually do. This can be due to bad lighting, warps in the mirror, or a number of other causes.

I should have checked to see if this house had an ugly mirror before moving in.

Ugly Mirror

The ugly mirror is when your anger towards another person is coming from your own guilt in doing the same thing. Maybe they have the same issue/tendency you do, and maybe you have never been on the receiving-end before.

I was angry at James because of his massive mommy issues, until I realized I was looking into the ugly mirror.
