Adverb: To act (or not act) without thought or awareness of the affect or impact of said action/non-action.

1)The mighty cliffs shot suddenly and straight up out of the vast plain, starkly and unawaredly scarring and dwarfing the vast flat emptiness of the plateau.

2)The boys ran wildly about, chasing and dodging each other, yelling and laughing unawaredly; the tension and silence of the moment shattered by the incongruency of their levity and noise.
