Used between opposite sexes as a means of being flirtatious while texting. Might accidently be used in place of a smiley face.

Example 1-
Guy 1: I sent Trish a winkey face, and she sent one back.
Guy 2: It might as well be facebook official.

Example 2-
Guy 1: Shit I accidently sent Tommy a winkey face.
Guy 2: We shouldnt be friends anymore.
