waterpark-worthy

A term that refers to a hot summer day - in other words, the type of weather that makes one want to go to the waterpark.

(Checks the weather forecast)

Let's see, sunny, high of 95...looks pretty waterpark-worthy to me! I'll make sure to bring my swimsuit to work so I can head up to the waterpark right after I get off work for the day.

Waterpark

A place with slides, a lazy river, and (in some cases) a wave pool.
The perfect place to be on a hot summer day. Basically, waterparks are what makes summer great.

It’s so hot outside - what should we do today?

Grab your swimsuit, a towel, and some sunscreen - WE’RE GOING TO THE WATERPARK!

katy perry shower

A shower that constantly fluctuates in temperature.

Derives from the Katy Perry song, "Hot N Cold"

- Dang it, that house's got a Katy Perry shower.

- What do you mean by that????

- It's hot, then it's cold....

bed garnish

Refers to the placement of many extra pillows on a bed solely for decorative purposes, above and beyond (sometimes far beyond) what is needed for sleeping.

Very common in hotel rooms, as well as among homeowners who try to look fancy.

What’s with all this bed garnish? I only need ONE pillow to sleep!

*tosses 8 pillows on the floor*

quarter farm

The practice of obtaining "free" quarters by feeding dollar bills into a vending machine and pressing "coin return".

I didn't have change for the meter, so I had to quarter farm the coke machine.
