Cobbs

A slang term from Chicago describing eminent possession of something. It's used primarily as a call-to-action or an announcement. A relative to dibs or first dibs.

I got cobbs on that macaroni when it come out the oven, cuz y'all niggas be hogging shit.

Her: May I have a piece of your pizza?
Him: No cobbs, that shit over with.

Him: Shotgun!!
His friend: Hell naw bro I already called cobbs. Sit yo ass in the backseat.
