Mask Therapy

When someone deliberately uses masks to ignite their creativity, such as donning a face mask while venturing in the wilderness or in an open air surrounding, with no one around, in the hope of getting some novel ideas for a project, or of experiencing an aha to a wicked problem.

After being stuck for weeks with an unsolved math problem, Prof. Dean decided to go for a mask therapy, by trekking some off-campus mountainous region, and hoping to be rewarded with some insight during the trip.

January 6 Pardon

The right-wing fringe theory that the sooner the Insurrectionist-in-Chief is reinstated as president, who lost a “stolen” 2020 election, the better it will be for the hundreds of presently imprisoned or GPS-tracked-and-monitored “American Patriots,” who have faith that a presidential pardon would exonerate them from their violent attack on the Capitol.

Which is more likely: a January 6 pardon, or the names of the 45th US President and his morally bankrupt GOP lawmakers-supporters in the Book of Life?

Singapore Math Variants

Math titles plagued with brain-unfriendly questions to bedevil or challenge those who find that school textbooks in Singapore ill-prepare them to solve nonroutine or tricky questions—kiasu parents and tutors want to expose their children and students to fiendish or deadlier word problems to protect themselves against olympiad math questions, which have infected school exam papers in recent years.

Publishers are maniacally looking for Singapore math variants writers to meet the mathematical needs and wants of kiasu parents, who want their kids to have an unfair competitive edge over their peers.

Piometry

The use of art to creatively depict the number π to make it appear like porn math to an oft-innumerate public—when the most famous constant in mathematics looks pleasing to their naked eye albeit it is probably not so to their mind’s eye.

Even mathophobic artists couldn’t resist from indulging in some piometry every now and then to give their audience a faux appreciation of numerical or symbolic elegance.

Piometry

When the symbol π is seductively or sexily designed to make it appear like porn math to an oft-innumerate public—when the most famous constant in mathematics looks more pleasing to the naked eye than to the mind’s eye.

Even mathophobic artists couldn’t resist from indulging in some piometry every now and then to give their audience a glimpse of symbolic elegance.

Imaginary Tales

Fictional stories or plots whose characters are the complex numbers or imaginary numbers—conversations among these once-ostracized numbers among mathematicians would allow listeners or readers to get intimate with their beautiful numerical properties.

Mrs. Jones thought that teaching complex numbers via imaginary tales might be a more interesting and creative way to introduce these “fictional numbers” to her students.

Trump Radicalization

When the right-wing media are brainwashing hundreds of thousands of Republicans that Trump won the 2020 US presidential election by a landslide, but lost it because of alleged fraudulent ballots, and that they would need to help him fund his lawsuits to expose the illegitimacy of his opponent’s victory.

Thanks to Trump radicalization, the President couldn’t believe that his diehard supporters are so gullible to give their money away to actually help him pay his bigly debts, which would have taken him years to do so without the donations.
