Maskerick

Short for “Mask Maverick.” A rebel who wants to set a trend in mask wearing, or a disruptor who desires to make mask wearing a fashion, political, or social statement—for example, encouraging anti-maskers to publicly wear their mandatory face masks inside out to display their displeasure to the authorities.

Maskerick Trump instigated his diehard supporters to don a MAGA mask on their march to the Capitol Building on November 6 to protest against allegedly fraudulent votes that had masked the “illegal” victory of his political opponent.

Maskerick

A limerick on the mixed messages mask wearing is sending to the public, be it as a symbol of political rebellion against the authorities, the selfish attitude by maskholes whose inept leader mocked mask-wearers, or as a protective shield against infection even for vaccinated folks.

A maskerick that was composed in the aftermath of mask myths propagated by some selfish diehard Trumpists or QAnonists is:

Three maskholes-finalists emerged for the ignoble “Maskhole of the Year” award.
Donald J. Trump, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz from a dirty dozen names put forward.
From the unholy trinity, who refuse to wear a face mask in public out of sheer vanity,
Whose odds are the highest in clinching the notorious prize on this side of eternity?
Wouldn’t it be a surprise if one Trumpublican beats his vain boss for the reward?

COVID-λ

Read as “Covid-Lambda.” A Covid-19 “variant of interest” according to WHO, which was first identified in Peru in December 2020—it is believed to be more transmissible than the original strain of the coronavirus, but less deadlier than the delta variant.

To protect against variants like Covid-⍺, Covid-𝛿, and Covid-λ, getting vaccinated, avoiding international travel, mask wearing, physical distancing from others, and not attending large social gatherings would minimize the odds of infection and reinfection.

UD 4 Seniors

When frequent contributions among the retired to Urban Dictionary could positively enhance their mental health, or even reduce the odds of their suffering from dementiacoining new words or redefining old ones would motivate them to be creative and keep them mentally active.

Because elders’ wise words on Urban Dictionary could benefit readers of all ages, it’s apt to launch some kind of “UD 4 Seniors” campaign, as part of the government’s effort to promote active aging, or to disrupt aging in preventing any form of mental disorder.

Psalm 3

A psalm by King David, when he was fleeing from his son Absalom, who wanted to dethrone him. In spite of being assailed by thousands of his enemies, who didn’t believe God would rescue him, David cried out to the Lord for help. The Lord delivered him by striking his opponents, because salvation belongs to the Lord, whose blessing is on His people.

If Donald J. Trump, the Pharisee-in-Chief, who lusted for money, sex, and power, and who is presently facing so many trials, tribulations, and temptations from all sides, appropriated the promises in Psalm 3, what are the chances that his name would not only be in the Book of Life, but he’d also return as an anointed political savior?

Vaccine Against B.S

A mental or psychological jab to protect unvaccinated folks, who are more prone to being brainwashed or indoctrinated by right-wing morally bankrupt politicians and ethically challenged popular TV personalities, spreading their lies and conspiracies on mask wearing and vaccination against the coronavirus pandemic.

Until there is a vaccine against B.S., the infection and mortality rates among millions of unvaccinated folks faithfully watching Fox News, who are continually being fed with misinformation about Covid-19 vaccination, are just going to rise in the face of deadlier delta and delta-plus variants.

Mathematical Pointillism

The use of small dots rather than a pen, pencil, or Sharpie marker to depict a numeral, geometric figure, formula, or math concept.

Even artists who are allergic to school math could demonstrate their numerical, geometric, or formulaic creativity through mathematical pointillism.
