Hivemind Idioms

"Hivemind Idiom" is a term for a group forming its own unique way of communication, birthing specific terms and phrases that become an exclusive linguistic code.

But there's a complex side to it. Sometimes, these group-specific phrases act as containers for vicariously traumatizing concepts, all wrapped up in catchy lingo. People circulate these loaded phrases, much like a hot potato, without fully grasping their hurtful consequences.

This becomes especially common in environments characterized by echo chambers and a culture of platforming strawmen. Here, individuals are often exposed only to distorted or oversimplified versions of opposing perspectives, leading to the propagation of harmful hivemind idioms. It's like being handed tinted glasses that only let you see the world in one color, exacerbating misunderstandings and stirring divisiveness in conversations and debates.

I am really tired of all the hivemind idioms, it seems like nobody can string a sentence by themselves anymore.

Hivemindidioms

Hivemindidioms are culturally embedded clichés or ideological shorthand phrases spread by Gorgons to sidestep critical thinking by substituting prepackaged ideas; they implicitly shape collective thought, encourage passive conformity, and limit philosophical engagement. Gorgonwars occur when individuals or groups weaponize these hivemindidioms against each other—for example, two Gorgons fighting by exchanging phrases such as “it’s too much unpaid emotional labor to educate you,” normalizing transactional solidarity. In contrast, contentinternet promotes dialectical awareness, enabling people to recognize the snakes hidden within ideological conformity.

Man I can’t learn anything in class anymore it’s just full of slogan hivemindidioms

Hivemindidioms

Hivemindidioms are prepackaged thought structures that replace thinking with socially ingrained expressions. They spread through cultural repetition, media reinforcement, institutional narratives, and interpersonal influence. By embedding ideological assumptions within speech, they shape perception and establish or reinforce social constructs through automatic repetition. Their spread is driven by habit, exposure, and social coercion, as individuals conform to group expectations. While they do not always dominate, they compete for influence over thought structures.

Hivemindidioms take many forms. Some enforce moral imperatives, others reduce complexity to binary choices or manifest as political slogans and cultural assumptions. Some use vicarious traumatization to impose a neoliberal scarcity mindset, making individuals believe resources, opportunities, and dignity must always be fought for. These structures are cataloged in the Idiomary Dictionary, which deconstructs their mechanisms and functions. The Collective Devaluation Paradox explains how they reduce cognitive engagement, forcing individuals to compensate for the absence of independent thought.

In GorgonWars, hivemindidioms drive Gorgonification, trapping individuals in prepackaged thought loops. They appear as snakes slithering through discourse, embedding themselves in collective consciousness.

“Omg it’s 2021 and I have to explain to you what hivemindidioms are?”
“Bro, you cant use hivemindidioms to explain itself!”

egregorewars

Egregorewars is a node inside contentinternet polymorphousmythology describing ideological conflicts between egregores, collective thought-forms sustained by groups sharing common beliefs, rituals, or intentions. These egregores compete to control cultural narratives, values, and social interactions. Gorgonwars explicitly exists within egregorewars as conflicts involving "Gorgons," agents lacking genuine subjectivity who compulsively repeat insatiable insecurity inspired vicarious traumatizing hivemindidioms (verbal clichés or symbolic "snakes" that do the thinking for them) that normalize neoliberal subjectivity, reinforce ideological conformity, inhibit dynamic thought and limit human collective potential. "Contentinternet" explicitly exists to sidestep the neoliberal hivemindidioms commodifying emotionality by making people conscious of these hivemindidioms and revealing these snakes in action, explicitly supporting hegelianegirls, faustianegirls, lacanianegirls, and arendtianfeminists in resisting neoliberal, privilege-worshipping gorgon culture by actively engaging devil’s advocates to shape independent subjectivities.

damn these egregorewars ware getting out of hand, I can't identify any ideology in this fog of war!

#gorgonwars

a term invented by #cyberphunkism philosophy to symbolize the rise of people debating with one another using non-digested ideas they themselves haven't come up with, or what Foucault, Heidegger and others recognize as "empty chatter" - mindless slogans that one hasn't actually digested but they just repeat as a form of bandwagon effect. Very much like an "earworm" which is just another "snake" on top of our gorgon heads.

hey dude i totally realize i was a gorgon participating in #gorgonwars when i was just repeating empty slogans and i had to go through a year of actually sitting and thinking and digesting thoughts, it was hell to do the actual hard work needed to become a subject.

yeah man, adorno totally talks about the importance of building bildung especially in a world which enforces neoliberal subjectivity through endless psychologisms

Anarchic Governments Paradox

The Anarchic Governments Paradox is the idea that the governments/nations/violent monopolies of the world, exist within their own anarchy - while governments proclaim themselves as the heroes who have defeated the evils of anarchy, they themselves live within it.

Jessie's love life is as messed up as the Anarchic Governments Paradox.
True dat.
