A stranger/unknown person. Usually a friend of a friend.
"Who are those randomers over there?"
-Q. "Do you need a lift to the party tonight"
-A. "Yeah, can I bring a randomer along too?"
n. pl. People that are outside of your group or party, or outside of any party perhaps, ie. those who roll alone, especially on Xbox Live.
We just raped those guys in that last game, they must have all been randoms.
Who are these randoms we keep running into?
In online gaming, "randoms" refer to random people in a server who aren't your friends, clan- or guildmates.
"Yesterday I was playing with randoms. They didn't use voice chat so we lost."
Random people. People you don't know, and who seem to be there for no reason. Strangers, or barely-there acquaintances.
The ones nobody invited to the party, but who hang around anyway - no-one will ask them to leave, as no-one knows who invited them in the first place.
My Facebook friends are a mix of colleagues, school friends, and randomers I couldn't turn down in case I'd met them and forgotten about it.
Someone who's not well known, or is simply a stranger. Usually being used online while playing games.
Guy 1:"He's such a random! Get outta here random! You're garbo!"
Random:"I'm a random."
For the love of God, stop using this word. It's not clever, it's not funny and it's not original. You sound just the same as all the other clone-like teenagers who think they're oh so unique for saying it. Give it a fucking rest.
