Scientific Wild-Ass Guess.
Typically used by teachers or lecturers when attempting to get class participation, "Come on, give me some SWAG."
An estimation. Stands for "scientific wild ass guess." Primarily used among the military, especially snipers when they are taking a shot and need to calculate proper bullet trajectory.

I read that you're supposed to get a minimum of 100 grams of protein a day, but I don't know if someone actually bothered to study that or if it's just a bodybuilder's SWAG.
