A phrase many of us use, even when we're not fine. People sometimes even buy it, even making us believe we're fine when we're really dying inside.
"Are you ok Aria?"
"I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"I-I'm fine."
"You sure you're sure?"
"I-I'm f-fine!!"
"Ok."
Something someone (usually down or depressed) says when they don't feel like talking about it, or don't want to be in a vulnerable or in their eyes burdening situation.
Person one: Hey, man you seem kinda down, you ok?
Person 2: Yea, I'm fine...
I'm fine is a lie. People may say their fine. But deep down they're not. I know this for a fact because I say I am fine all the time, when I really am not. So when someone says their fine, talk to them about it. They aren't fine in any way.
Person: Hey you seem pretty down, are you okay?
Person 2: Yeah, I'm fine. *sigh*
What to say when you just want everyone to shut up after something sad or bad happened to you.
A: Are you ok? What's wrong?
B: I'm fine.
A: You sure?
B: I'm fine.
Something girls say to boys to not worry them or if they have stress girls don't want boys to worry about them they usually say "I'm fine" when they are mad.
Boy: Are you ok you seem mad?
Girl: I'M FINE!
