Popcorn comments are two or more people having a really dumb discussion which in reality you dont care about but their arguments are so dumb you just need to get out the popcorn. Often found on reddit, but can also be found elsewhere.
This post has potential for popcorn comments.
Someone who overuses crying and skull emojis, and also overuses the word "Bro" and other words. You will find these people in the average instagram comment section. (Ong, Blud, Lil bro etc.) People who don't use these emojis and words this much are not affected. This definition is for people who can't speak a millisecond without these words.
Person 1: Hey man, what's up how's your day?

Person 2: Nah Lil bro. go over there and put the fries in the bag.

The act of ending a comment thread on Facebook by "liking" the other person's comment instead of providing a response. Named for the process of ending a filibuster in the US Senate.
The conversation was starting to look like a flame war, so I "liked" his comment to cut it off. Comment cloture FTW.
The worse version of a Comment Vulture. Instead of exploiting replies to self-promote, these guys like to exploit replies to insult anyone following that thread, almost always for trolling and nothing more. The most infamous of Comment Coyotes is ForgiveZharion, who may as well be the most nefarious troll of the 2020's.
