An onomatopoetic word resembling the sound created by forcefully exhaling while first making an "oo" sound and then bringing the lips together, most often used to express discomfort or disappointment, or understanding of others experiencing the same.
Person 1: "Dammit, my phone died!"
Person 2: "Oof."
The sound of which you make when your air is suddenly knocked out of you.
I oofed when she pushed me out of my chair.
The act of a gamer expressing pain, or a gamer's reaction to something unfortunate.

Usually used when someone gets roasted, after someone (or you) falls, and when anything in life go's wrong.
After I saw my test results I said, "oof, a sixty-nine percent! "

As I fell I yelled, "oof!" On the top of my lungs.
The word used when you either don’t care what someone is saying, or are completely antisocial and have no other way to contribute, add to, or end a conversation.
