When something is considered to be a good idea or worth doing.
Bob: "Do you want to go and get a burger from KFC Jack?
Jack: "Yeah, that's a good shout"
When you see someone who looks like someone else (or something else) & you tell a friend. If he agrees with you then He will say "Good Shout".
It is most common on a night out however can take place anywhere at any time.
