To hit somebody. Usually a punch out multiple punches towards the face.

James: Why is that man laying on the floor sleeping?
Derek: He was mad disrespectful, so I had to hook off on him.
James: Damn...

Hook off

When you have a planned apppointment/date with someone and they cancel. They usually have a lame excuse and it gets them off the hook for the meeting.

I'm going to hook off with Mike next week.

Hooking off is when you hooking onto your neighbours internet without there concent.

jayden: hay brad! i did a search on my wireless router and found a new computer connected called Tom.
brad: hmm how long do you think he has been hooking off for?

When someone tells a hooker that they have to work in the morning, and the hooker encourages them loudly and forcefully to "HOOK IT OFF."

Hooker: "Hey, you want whatever I do?"

Man in Buick: "Sorry, I need to be up early for the work."

Hooker: "HOOK IT OFF!"
