The "points" on reddit.com, also known as upvotes and downvotes.
Every post on reddit.com gets "internet points."
An often ironic synonym for the upvotes/likes you can get on various websites. "Internet points" is often used to point out that these have no real value, and craving for likes is pretty useless.
"Look, my post got over 1000 Upvotes!"
"Your Internet points won't pay the bills, Jim."
Internet clout points earned by things you have done on the internet. (Met actors, have a large follower base, do cool things, etc)

Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and NFTs which have no intrinsic value
