phrase used to describe a man or woman on the prowl. May be for a mate, sexual encounter, endeavor, location, or other discernible goal. May be demonstrated with palm extended (edge forward) from the forehead, as a shark fin.

"There goes Brad, after that floozy. (he/she's got) a fin up!"
