adj, adv. Awesome, indie, cultured, deep, alternative, counterculture.
In order to be considered indiecool, one must be cultured, appreciate great ideas, and know a lot about something (veganism, HP, theatre, politics, etc).
Indiecool activities include, but are not limited to: reading literature, listening to indie music, utilizing an extensive vocabulary, dressing up in themed outfits by era, cooking vegan food, having an e-crisis, appreciating great thinkers, being eco-friendly, promoting human rights and equality, viewing museums and art galleries, drinking coffee and/or tea, being ironic, debating, analyzing everything for philosophical messages, enjoying class and planning to get/having a university degree (unless you're a starving artist).
Indiecool occupations include, but are not limited to: starving artist, egalitarian politician, jazz musician, craft blogger, history professor, United Nations translator, Geek Squad guy, bartender, librarian.
When not questioning their own existence or the absurd, indiecool kids occasionally have their own current of personal elitism. They may condescend on mainstream, hedonistic activities such as clubbing, listening to rap music, accepting the world without query, and blatantly copy-pasting wikipedia text into powerpoint presentations.
- What are your plans for this weekend?
- Well, I thought Iâd check out the Andy Warhol exhibit with my VIP membership to the museum before heading off to the protest, where I will dress like a hippie, write poetry on my Macbook and vlog. Maybe if I have time, Iâll finish Le Deuxieme Sexe.
- You are so indiecool.
- What are your plans for this weekend?
- Well, Iâve realized that Iâm going to die eventually, so I thought Iâd just hide in a dark room and think about that. Maybe if I have time, Iâll reread archived A Softer World comics and cry.
- You are so indiecool.

Existential crisis.
Existential crisis is a stage of development at which an individual questions the very foundations of their life: whether their life has any meaning, purpose or value; whether their parents, teachers, and loved ones truly act in their best interest; whether the values they have been taught have any merit; and whether their religious upbringing may or may not be founded in reality.
An existential crisis may result from:
* The sense of being alone and isolated in the world;
* A new found grasp or appreciation of one's mortality;
* Believing that one's life has no purpose or external meaning; or
* Awareness of one's freedom and the consequences of accepting or rejecting that freedom.
She thinks her life is meaningless and is scared that she's wasting her time with school while she should be having the most physically gratifying life while it lasts. She is having an e-crisis.

(Two panels pass, the girl does not move)
Girl: If the question of what it all means doesn't mean anything, why do I keep coming back to it?
(Two boys are talking to each other) / First boy: She's getting existential again. / Second boy: It's okay, I have a super soaker. / (Second boy pulls a large super soaker from a drawer)

Stands for "Wit Beyond Measure" in the Harry Potter fandom.
"Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure" was revealed to be Rowena Ravenclaw's motto in HBP when it is shown to be engraved on her diadem. Luna Lovegood also quotes her in OotP.
The abbreviation is used by fans who identify themselves with the Ravenclaw house and value system. On MyLeaky, for example, it is the official motto of Ravenclaws who aim to earn the monthly "house cup" by participating around the site a great deal.
"Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure," said Luna in a sing-song voice. (OP10)
Let's win this, Ravenclaws! WBM!
