ricers

People who put huge wings on front wheel drive cars, huge body kits, terrible graphics, huge loud exhaust that sounds like a weedwhacker or go-kart or bees nest. ricers are people who think their car is fast when it really isnt. not all imports are rice, there is lots of domestic rice too.

Ricer

A person with a horrendously funny confusion between style and substance. Not all ricers are fuckwits, the ones who get their Civic DX and put 20"s and lawnmower exhausts on them are.

Ricer: Civic DX, complete with fart pipes, neon lighting, completely stock engine, and 8000 decals including a Ralliart one and a Mugen one next to each other. Non-painted aero kit.

Not a ricer: twin-turbo RX-7, with modest rear wing, 16" alloys and good tires. No aero kit. Maybe a limited-slip. Non-audible blow-off valves on turbo. No carbon-fiber to be seen. Good-sounding exhaust

REALLY not a ricer: 1955 Willys-Overland Pickup, 35" BFG M-T'S, Mercruiser 350, NV4500 5-speed, true 4WD, Detroit lockers.

Ricer

derived from "rice burner", which typically signified any japanese import vehicle.
has since been modified to signify any young male who takes said rice burner and modifies the exterior of the vehicle to include, but not be limited to: loud exhaust (slang: fart can), neon lights mounted under the car, strobe lights in the turn signal housings (but have been known to be mounted in other locations), body styling kits (which replace the original body pieces), large graphics, bumper stickers on the side of the car (typically of products that haven't been installed on the car), loud audio system which includes enough bass to shake bolts loose on the car (and make your eyeballs shake), a 3 or 4 foot universal wing mounted on the trunk lid of a front wheel drive car (used in racing for downforce on rear wheel drive cars).

look at that ricer in that nasty honduh.

ricers

Term given to anyone who happens to like and/or drive a Non-American vehicle and/or not like American made vehicles. Most Honda owners are used to the name Ricer, since they take most of the heat.

Some "ricers" like to build fast cars, while others would rather just have a nice looking car. It doesn't matter to the Pro-American people, for no matter what the person wants his car to be, it isn't because "its rice"

My 1969 Chevelle with 340 Horsepower and a weight of around 4grand can take any ricer I don't care what hes got.
