Neopronouns are pronouns used for a person instead of he/she/they. The prefix neo- means "new." Some people take it to far and go by kitten/kittenself, etc. Some good neopronouns that don't insult majority of lgbtqia+ community are ze/zir, xe/xem.
Person A: Hey, my pronouns are he/they. What are yours?
Person B: Oh! I use neopronouns along with he/him. So my pronouns are xe/he.
Person C: Sorry to intrude but my pronouns are kitten/kittenself! Im catgender and dreamsexual also!!
Person B: That actually kind of offensive...
Person C: NO ITS NOT!! IM JUST AS VALID AND IM NOT HURTING ANYONE!!
Person A: Its not "cool" or "edgy" to identify as a cat and be dreamsexual. 1. dream has a gender, not a seperate gender. 2. you are a human. humans can be different genders but they arent a different species. 3. using those pronouns are offensive to people who use neopronouns and you make them look bad to others. 4. No one wanted you in this conversation.
