Lop off

Cutting pulling or ripping something off from and object and then the detached object being thrown away

Guy 1: so yeah, I was just cutting some wood for my new shed that I’m building and then I tripped and the saw fell on my finger and it kind of made me lop off my own finger
Guy 2: sir this is a denny’s
