A coon tune, is a type of song that is made to a “trappy” beat, which is then covered up by a bunch of annoying ad-libs, like “yah”, “skrrt”, “aye”, “uh”, etc. Most if not all coon tunes hold zero lyrical meaning, & take no real effort to make. Person 1: Hey what kind of music do you listen to?
Person 2: Uh pretty much, Lil Uzi, Kodak Black, Lil Pump, & 21 Savage.
Person 1: Oh so you only listen to coon tunes? That's very disappointing, those types of songs are destroying what's left of real rap.
