Langleyed

Back before the dawn of modern medicine, illnesses festered to a frightening degree. These ranged from the common cold, to syphillis, to the plague. Especially during the plague, bodies would pile up in streets leaving an unbearable smell. When someone would walk past it close enough, the smell would permiate their clothes and skin leaving them stank for weeks. This is called Langleyed.
