Honeypot

(adj.) - A word used to describe or characterize a distraction that is used to lull a target (eg. A targeted person or hacker) while it is being observed or coerced, and which usually results in the target being neutralized, degraded or defeated.

The Targeted Individual was set up with a Honeypot by his stalkers, and their relationship ended in his reputation being tarnished, his finances in ruin, and he lost his job.
