Chat-Killer

A post in a chatroom, forum, or other means of instant messaging which causes all of those participating in the discussion to quit replying, or cause a significant delay in posts back, comparable to an awkward silence.

"The phrase, 'Hail Satan' is a real chat-killer on most Christian servers."
