a Thunderstorm occurring over a Maelstrom, much like in Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Or a Maelstrom occurring underneath a Thunderstorm, either way you look at it.

Pete: Guys, we should turn the boat around, there is a thunderstorm a head!
Jake: Not just that, there is also a giant whirlpool!
Captain: 1337, a Thunderstrom!
