Much more natural than cigarettes. But if you have legal permission to grow your own then it is reccomended compared to tobacco. If you smoke tobacco, you are pretty much inhaling chemicals into your lungs; with weed, you don't have any chemicals.

Person 2: Nah man, I only smoke weed
