the lurch

stomach flu, aka norovirus, norwalk virus, "cruise ship" virus: higly contagious gastrointestinal virus characterized by violent vomiting and/or explosive diarrhea.

I got the lurch last night and spent 3 hours on the toilet keeled over a trash can.
