gate licker

Someone (especially those with overhanging buck-teeth) who cannot resist the urge to fall over into a metal-sheet gate, leaving a dent, damaging the innocent gate/fence.

I just saw gate licker this morning, I’ve warned people to keep an eye on their fences.

zesty zoo-zah

To describe something is extremely weird or out of the ordinary, or may seem really gay or homosexual.

What the zesty zoo-zah is that!

Plover

Otherwise known as a Masked Lapwing, this type of plover is a bird native to Australia. Like most Australian wildlife, this bird has the unstoppable urge to attack humans on sight when you enter or pass nesting grounds, especially during the season of spring (nesting season).

Unless you’re in a car, or other covered vehicle, you are the enemy to the plover. You can be minding your own business, walking or riding along, but when you hear the distinctive sound that every Australian has learned to fear, you know that you’ve been spotted as an apparent threat to the nest. It’s too late now to get away.

Plovers have spurs on the leading edge of their wings, of which is the weapon of choice when it comes to terrorising humans. At a far distance from the nest, plovers will conduct circling patterns (usually in pairs) above a defenceless human, then at the right time, one or both will swoop down onto the human for the attack. Plover nests are located on the ground, and you’ll know you’re close because the bird will run at you with its spurred wings spread out, in an attempt to deter you away from the nest.

Plovers are birds that are feared in Australian society, but if you leave them alone, and just keep going, most of the time they won’t make contact because they find it “too risky”. They’ll still swoop and make a ruckus but in the end, they are just trying to protect their nest, and feel that scary noises and aggressive behaviour is the best way to do that.

Holy shit, I think I just heard a plover behind us, let’s get the fuck outta here before it’s too late!

chilled lesson

A phrase, commonly used by secondary school science teachers at the end of the school year, who will state the lesson will be “chill” and “relaxed” while simultaneously handing out inch-thick worksheets to the class. The class will then watch a two-decade old video before filling out the worksheet from a PowerPoint presentation. According to the teacher this must be complete by the end of the lesson.

So, it’s just a very chilled lesson today guys, not much for you to do. I’ve got a video for you to watch, so there isn’t much work that needs to be done.

Coke rizz

When an obese individual (particularly art and PE teachers), use a certain type of rizz to attract beverages such as Coca-Cola. This will not work on Diet Coke, and will barely work on Coke Zero Sugar.

I heard that the art teacher has some extreme Coke rizz!
