Slang for Pittsylvania County, the largest county in the state of Virginia.
I drove throug PittCo on the way to NC and I almost died from the stench of stale-marijuana-slash-cow-poo.
The largest county in Virginia landwise, yet only has a population of about 68,000. Located in South Central Virginia. Towns in Pittsylvania County include Chatham, Gretna, Hurt......and that's pretty much it. The larger city of Danville is located smack at the bottom of the county, although it's technically independent from the county.
In other words, PittCo is approximately 1000 square miles of boondocks and farms.
Outsider #1: "What the hell? Where are we? Iowa?!"
Outsider #2: "Oh no, we're just in Pittsylvania County."
