Verb: To make someone suddenly 'sober up' or 'get clean' by showing that person the stupid, shocking, and embarrassing things he/she did while drunk and/or stoned.

"Man! Joe was messed up last night!"
"Yeah, I know... but I shobered him up this morning with a picture of of him dancing on the bar with his pants down to his ankles. He said he was NEVER going to drink tequila again! Now if we could just figure out how to get his arrest record erased."
