Ennui

A painting by Walter Richard Sickert who is also suspected to have been Jack the Ripper.

They look quite bored and life loathing and Ennui in the picture.. but the painting on the wall is that of a woman with the faint brushes of a man watching her in the background. ..maybe with a knife?

mash hole

When you make mashed potatoes and make a volcano with your taters a la mash and add the gravy inside.

I cried when my mash hole broke and the gravy flooded out.
