Romney

1. (verb or noun) To utterly crush an opposing individual or team <The Bears sure pulled a Romney on the Jaguars last week(n.)! or The Jaguars sure got Romneyed by the Bears last week(v.)!>.
a. Typically when one has been Romneyed, there is a sense of bewilderment, disbelief and/or panic from the opposing individual, team and/or fans/supporters.
b. When one has been Romeneyed, it typically results in the opposing individual, team and/or fans/supporters resorting to name calling, aggressiveness, and finding significant justification as to why the opposition performed so poorly.

c. The final stage of being Romneyed is acceptance by the opposing individual, team and or fans/supporters that the one who Romneyed the opponent is far superior in a number of ways and is better equipped overall to do the job set forth. The timing of this stage varies by individual; some may realize it immediately and intelligently switch sides, while others somehow get stuck in stage two.
2. (adjective or adverb) To be far superior to the opposing individual or team due to maturity, preparation, history of success, courage, grace and ability. <He successfully won over his opponent because of his Romneyful characteristics (adj). or They Romneyfully fought off their attackers (adv)>.
