The new name for gerund. After being simplified by catherine, it remains the new name for a gerund, and is on the official wikipedia page.

Teacher: “Okay class today we’re going to learn about gerunds.”
Class (correcting the teacher): “They’re called gerbs now!”
Teacher (checks the wikipedia page): “Sorry, my bad, I meant Gerbs.”
