Fakeboi

Boys who you you become friends with and have had some weird sexual tension with / might have hooked up with in the past (but they pretend like you didn't), expect you to provide edification and emotional support to them as you would a boyfriend... but if asked if they are dating you/are attracted to you suddenly get all weird, "oh no, you're pretty, but I don't think of you like that".

You hear all about their girl drama and are all supportive... but the moment you try to tell them about your boy drama they claim to not understand what you see in any member of the opposite sex that isnt them... the power imbalance comes that you would date them in a heart beat, even though you could do much better. They know this that they would be lucky to get us, but their tiny egos can't handle the idea of "dating up" so they continue to have crushes on all of your friends before finally settling for a girl who looks just like you but younger and plainer without a personality and none of your firey independent spirit....

Carla: Oh Mary, you've been spending a lot of time with john... are you guys going out/hooking up/seeing each other...
Mary: *sigh* no - I''m just his friend and he's just my fakeboi.
