Definition: Having the potential emotional and reputational (and perhaps even STD) consequences of actual sexual activity without being actually penetrative or generally considered sexual activity.

For instance - “We didn’t have sex or even play ‘just the tip’, but it was fuck adjacent enough that had my man found out, it would have not been a good look.”
