Idolize

To make someone your idol, or to greatly care for or love them.

(Basically to treat someone or something like your god because you care for it/them a lot and think they're cool)

Friend: "Are you idolizing (to idolize someone) me?"

You: "WHAT?! PFFT NO, OF COURSE NOT!"
Friend: "but you called me your spirit animal... 😑"
