From the declension of “ang puta(the bitch)”. It’s usually used as an insult to someone or as an emphasis to the word it refers to. Its acronym is amp which is mainly used in chat. Its meaning may vary through context

Person 1: tangina, naglalandi na naman siya sa mga babae(motherfucker, he’s flirting with the girls again)

Hala

This word is used when you or someone does something wrong, its meaning changes depending on the tone its said with. A short, high pitched “hala” is used when you did something wrong or something bad happens yo you. And a longer, low pitched “hala” is used when someone else did something wrong something bad happened to them.
