Fever

A term used in motorsport, most commonly in Historic racing circles to refer to the feeling of immense excitement, passion and enthusiasm for racing along side an acceptance that, even though it may be dangerous, the desire to drive and/or race a car overpowers any doubts.

The term was coined by the late motoring journalist and racing commenter, Henry Hope-Frost. After Hope-Frost’s death in 2018, renowned racing driver Simon Diffey began handing out #fever stickers to race-car owners in the paddocks. These stickers can be found on some of the worlds most valuable and notable vehicles as a symbol of unity and respect.

I/They have Fever.
