Two best friends. Please cherish each other, you may not always have each other. I miss my bird.

Macy: I think we’re soul mates. Soul mates don’t have to be romantic, but I think you’re my other half.
Lola: That sounds right.

Macy went on to die, later that year.
Lola, now spender their days thinking about “Two birds, on a wire. One says, come on! And the other says, I’m tired.” Blaming themselves for Macy’s death.

Meaning, the two birds on a wire may be best friends, but they can still lose each other. Things can move at different places, and may even fall behind. Cherish each other.
