(not so) elegantly wasted

To become so intoxicated after consuming alcohol and/or drugs that your body can no longer handle the toxicity and needs to get rid of it. The "(not so) elegantly" refers to the methods your body uses to expel the intoxicants (vomiting, etc)

My bestie got so trashed drunk last night at the party that she got nauseous and puked all over herself. Guess you could say that she was (not so) elegantly wasted.

bombproof

Describes a horse or pony so calm and well trained that nothing scares them

"Awesome to see the modified hoyer (total) lift in the arena and the horses seem totally bombproof around it"

Snuggle bunny

Applies to humans who love to cuddle with one another, but also applies to companion animals who love to spend quality time with their humans.

Of both of my cats, Ivy is more the snuggle bunny than Buttercup.

diaddy

Slang for diaper

Usually I would encourage other vocabulary when referring to adult Incontinence products, but the subject of this post is not a person. So, yeah, take the TODDLER IN CHIEF to change his diaddy.

meet my goose

The act of pinching someone's buttocks (either playfully or as a way to get them to move out of your way), as though a real goose was grabbing a beak-ful of flesh. You can do this with either your bare hand or a reaching stick (assistive device used for picking things off the floor when you can't bend at the waist).

They just discharged me from the hospital and I needed a wheelchair to get to the car. Some idiot walked in front of me and wouldn't acknowledge me when I called out, "excuse me", so I made them meet my goose with my reaching stick. They took the hint.

Slack Week

Also known as Reading Week, it's a University student's equivalent to March Break.

University student 1: What are you doing for Reading Week?
University student 2: Not much. Think I'll veg on the couch and watch soaps all day. You?
University student 1: I think I'll work on my Methods (Sociology) assignments and study for the midterm. Haven't decided what else I'll do.

University student 2: Happy Slack Week
