The climate on Waiheke Island sits on average four degrees warmer than the rest of New Zealand. Because of this, the Teke on this island sits around 40% better than the average Teke in the rest of the country. The Waiheke Teke is usually so moist, it produces the finest âready to drinkâ drop of Pinot Gris.
On one of Robbieâs wine tours, to accompany the hors d'oeuvres, I drank the sweetest juices from Beckyâs Waiheke Teke!
