A word used to describe a situation when someone beileves they will orgasim, but do not. The victim of the "gasm" is usually an orgasm-virgin and they in fact have no idea of they even came to close to a real orgasm.

A gasm is usually followed with dissapointment, frustration, and more porn.

"I thought it was finally happening but it turned out just to be a stupid gasm!"
