hang

1.To loiter around in an area or to stick with a group of people. Usually just a rest period or procrastination of time until an idea or event happends causing the "hang" to end.

2. Short version of hang-over.

3. Some one who is swinging on the gallows pole.

4. While snowboarding or in basketball, a fraction of a second or more where the individual appears to levitate in mid air. Short for "Hang Time".
