A shortening of "chunder"

More convenient to use when stating that you're going to be sick as usually you are without much time to inform the occupants of in the immediate vicinity that they're about to have a bit of a mess to clear up if they don't move.

British colloquial but likely used elsewhere

Person 1: oh shit I think I'm going to chun!

Person 2: *moves swiftly*

Person 2: bloody awful, I was chunning all night!
